You’ve probably been recycling for years. But do you know if you’re doing it right? Now, many communities have adopted “single stream recycling”, where residents place all recyclables in one bin, without sorting.
All American Waste, a recycling and waste removal company servicing CT, NY, RI and MA, was having a problem with contaminated recycling finding its way to the processing plant. To help customers understand the do’s and don’ts of single stream recycling, they turned to Geomatrix for help.
According to Geomatrix producer, James Chianese, “We spent time learning all that we didn’t know about recycling. After that, we strategized how we could help All American Waste get their message out not only to their customers, but also to the rest of the community.”
A short, animated infographic was proposed as a fun way to engage the audience while reinforcing the messages. Geomatrix motion graphics artist Tom Coben created an animation that shows how easy it is to engage in single stream recycling as a way to help improve the environment – and how the process works.
Watch the animation – you’ll be surprised at what you’ll learn, and we promise it’ll be a fun way to spend the next 90 seconds. Then, please recycle – by sharing the animation with your friends!
